I write software people don't notice: the code that handles requests at 3am, drains the queue, and never wakes anyone up. Backend systems in Go and TypeScript, on top of PostgreSQL.

I prefer the standard library to the framework and the boring option to the clever one: hand-written middleware instead of magic, migrations that run once behind an advisory lock, and a concurrent write that gets rejected instead of silently merged. I also build UIs in React and Next.js when a backend needs a face.
